Trippy Taco turns 16!
Here's a message from owner Simon Fischer: "That's right, we're 16! Trippy Taco began back in NYE 2000/2001 with a stall at Earthcore. Since then we have been continuously bringing the goodness our regulars have come to know and love.
At this very first event, my friends and I hand painted the first Trippy Taco signs. They were all spontaneous designs. One read "Trippy Taco- Go The Distance". At that time it was just about getting through that 5 days of Earthcore madness (thanks @earthcoreofficial !) but now looking back, although the sign is long gone, I think it's an appropriate slogan for Trippy's today. So much has changed in the landscape of food in Melbourne, but we just keep doing our thing. Trippy Taco is just Trippy Taco!
Much love and appreciation to countless peeps who have contributed to and made Trippy's what it is today and has been for the past 16 years.
From the very original crew until now and all the diehard Trippy's punters- you make "Go The Distance" a reality.
Big ups, eternal thanks and gratitude- words cannot even begin to express. So, so many good times! Also big-ups to @auntymeredith, @frlfestival, @rainbowserpentfestival and many others. Oh, and last but not least Mum and Dad!
Love from Simon (Fish).
